Notifications when you receive PMs.

I get two notifications for one PMs I received. Is it meant to be like that, or is it a bug? I mean, I understand when someone quoted your post in your thread, one is for 'someone has posted in your thread', the other one is 'someone has quoted your post in ....... thread'. But, what about PMs?

I think it's a bug. I've been receiving many messages recently, and I got 2 notifications every single time.

The extra notification goes away when you either reply or wait for some time for it to go away.

Yeah that too.

I mean, if Jake really did it purposely then it's fine, I just wanna know why. But if he didn't, then I'm just giving him the heads up.

So I received a message and the 2 Notification thing happened and my messages said 2 unread although I had in fact read them. so I clicked Select all > Mark as Unread > then reopened them to make it go away > success. Now when someone quotes me my notification in the top right doesnt turn red yet when I click it there are notifications in there.....*sigh*

Well., so basically the bug does not only revolve around PMs received, that's what you're trying to say right?

See, Jake? I know you will 'eventually' fix it, but just a heads up.

Possibly or it could be something else entirely.
