post requirements

uh......just a suggestion, can you remove the post requirements for people with 1000 or more post/"fakku elder" and only apply it to elites and people with 999 or lower post count? i see no point for elders to spam and increase their post counts any higher, i mean, if you only got 2-3 little words to say e.g. "i'll try" or "thank you",

Some people spam for the sake of spamming, ranking doesn't come into it :p

i havent seen a elder spam post, mostly i see spamming are users with low post counts mostly new to the site

for easy posting? i always needed to add tons of spaces before or after my message just to post or reply or capitalize the 1st word , and i know most people also do, and its getting annoying,

So you want to be able to post single words into other parts of the forums?

bingo! and also post in serious discussion w/o needing to fixing my sentence construction (e.g. capital letters,symbols) i kinda hate it to always use spelling checker specially if im in a rush

I'm calling no for this one. Sometimes even there are elders who wants to spam just for the sake of spamming, like me.

I spam because I feel like spamming, even though I only spam on shit threads.
Title has nothing to do with spamming (well, apart from newbies who wanted titles).

This is an alternative. There could be an option in your profile setting or something that allows you not to increase your post count. To put it simply, when this option is ON, you get no post count increase whenever and/or wherever you post, just like in IB and CTFG. And by activating this option, you can bypass the post requirement. That way, it would make spamming useless.
How does it sounds?

I think it sounds kinda a bit off, and it's gonna be a hard thing to do.
Having a specific thread where the post count will or will not increase sounds a better idea for me.

Why would we remove the restrictions? So it's easier for you to add less content to your posts? Serious Discussion? You can't be serious. You should be using a spell check(try using firefox or chrome), or do you not mind coming off as less intelligent in a section where it's the only thing that should matter?

One word posts don't add anything to the conversation, it is just an excuse for you to spam your stupidity.

also, you cant double post/spam post after you posted in a thread, you will just be redirected to your latest post as "edit post", so i dont see this can cause spamming on a thread,



yes proper grammar is annoying, specially for asians, like myself which our official language isnt english, we have to go through this just to create a super ultra mega dynamic 100% Perfect sentence and Grammar,
and uh, so you mean to say people who arent able to do proper grammar are only allowed to post on IB coz we are stupid? how many people in the world do you think cant speak engish properly? china?korea? japan? philippines? indonasian? mexicans? etc. unless your being racist

We understand that English is not the primary language some of the community uses but this is an English website, we request that if users wish to communicate they do so in as clear a manor as possible so other users can understand the content of their posts.

You're not using "cuz" or "u" because the language is hard to use, it's because you've become accustomed to using that type of language on the internet. You've obviously proven you are capable of writing coherent sentences in this thread, I don't believe you have the right to claim ignorance or language barriers at this point. "Because it's hard" is a lazy excuse, you can do it but don't feel you should have to. No section on these forums require perfect grammar or sentence structure, we simply ask that your posts be legible so other users can understand you.

If the issue is that you are incapable of understanding English then sadly I do not believe this website is for you. If you are from many of the non-English speaking countries and can't comprehend/adhere to our basic guidelines when posting might I suggest you look for a web site dedicated to a language you can use to it's full potential.



We don't want people to only post a picture, we want content in every post with the exception of IB. I do hope this point has reached you.



Finally, two moderators have replied to you saying we won't be changing the posting standards, I'm not sure what else you would like at this point.
