Post Writing Field Size
0
When i write long posts or use a quote that takes up the whole field, the the view jumps up to the top. i can scroll back down to see what's been written, but as soon as i start typing again, the view jumps back to the top. it's probably related to my browser(ie because i'm too lazy to get a new one), but i was wondering how hard it would be to make the text writing field resizeable, or just to fix the initial problem.

What browser are you using exactly?
Because I recall a similar issue I had when I used to browse Fakku on Firefox. Not so much when simply typing, but whenever I was using BBCode, it would always scroll back up to the top of the post, which got rather irritating after awhile. I no longer have that issue with SRWare Iron, so I'm assuming Google Chrome also does not have that issue.
Assuming those are related at all, and you are using Firefox, you might try a browser built on the Chromium engine.

You can already resize the text field by dragging the two diagonal lines in the bottom right-hand corner. But a fix for the bbcode issue would be nice; it's been broken for years.

Seems like most people ignore it anyway, might be worth asking to get rid of that so there is more room to resize the window without an object in the way to obscure the window, and perhaps limiting the maximum size one can increase it so it matches the layout. Kind of hard to describe what I mean, but that is a nitpick anyway.
