Rep?

"Reputation is temporarily disabled." What happened? I haven't been around much lately, but it seems like it's been like that for a few months now. are there plans to sort it out, or is the whole system just dinosaur bones?

I remember there being some debate over it being abolished or changed in the past.

Well not long ago when Jacob upgraded the site to Fakku 4.0 he changed the reputation system. It used to be, as you will know it, one rep every 24 hours. But it was changed to repping as many posts as you want and people were abusing it, even grouping up to rep each other. It's since been disabled and there hasn't been an update about it.

To put it into context about 4/5 of my rep is from that day.

It's sad how childish people can be. i'd not mind seeing the whole thing abolished.
