Reply to Thread Notification

As far as I know, one can configure to have any replies sent to his own thread to trigger a notification. So I imagine that it would not take much to enable the freedom for users to use this feature to selected threads only, which is no doubt very convenient for many of us.

Or even, to have a 'follow a thread' feature, which is essentially the same, but not limited to your own threads.

Watching threads would be cool.

Not sure I'd ever use it though.

An obvious use case is the requests forum, which is the reason that prompted me to make this suggestion.
