Send the staff a report about the problem post/user by using the little report button on the top right of the post. There is no way the staff can get to every single offense, but with your help we can.

How do you get/lose Reputation?
You can +/- rep someone once you have 15 posts, which I see you have. You can only +/- rep one person once every 24 hours. After 24 hours, you regain the ability to +/- rep someone again. To +/- someone, there should be a +/- buttons to the side of the word "reputation" underneath your avatar. That's what you press to +/- rep someone. You cannot +/- rep yourself.
Why is my Signature not showing up in my Post?
You have to enable the following Options in your User Profile:
Show Your Signature: Yes
Show User Signatures: Yes
I want to change my User-Name, how do I do it?
Send a private message or email to any of the admins (Jacob, Raze, or Nikon). Be sure to include your old username and the new username you would like.

How do I get FAKKU Elite status?
To gain Elite status, you must have 500 posts. Refer to the Forum rules.
How do I get FAKKU Elder status?
For the FAKKU Elder status, you must have 1000 posts. Again, refer to the forum rules. These numbers are subject to change at administrative discretion as the forum grows.
Are there special privileges awarded with the Elite/Elder status or is it just nifty bragging rights?

What about the other FAKKU titles?
FAKKU Global Moderator - These staff members have moderator powers over the entire forum, and can access the Report List and ban users for violating the rules.
FAKKU Moderator - Moderators of one or more specific forums.
FAKKU Translator/Editor/Subber/Scanlator - Members of the resident translation team. These are the people who work very hard to bring you our translated releases.
FAKKU Uploader - The Uploader status is a special status given to exceptional users who we feel have contributed material to the site immensely, whether it be in the image section or uploads of doujins, manga, games, and/or anime, over a long period of time. And yes, this means the uploader status is higher than the elite/elder status.
FAKKU Artist - This rare title is awarded to outstanding artists on FAKKU who have contributed over a period of time. If you feel you deserve this title, contact an admin (Jacob, Raze, or Nikon) for consideration.
Can I have a custom Title?
Right now the staff feels that there is no need for custom titles. Everyone has a signature they can customize. A username, avatar, and signature should be more than enough for identification. As of now, all custom titles have been removed.
Profile Questions (Signatures)
What are the limits for Forum signatures?
300 pixels height. This includes everything in your signature space, including but not limited to images, text, closed spoilers, and white space.
Videos are not allowed in signatures.
What does closed spoilers mean?
A closed spoiler is when the spoiler is not open. Because spoilers load closed by default, it would not make sense to count open spoilers as part of the total signature space. A closed spoiler is approximately 30 pixels high.
How can I check if my signature is too large?
Find an image that is 300 pixels in height, and compare it to the entirety of your signature space.
Alternatively you can do some simple addition. Add up all the elements in your signature space.
What happens if I've been warned 3 times?
Your signature will be changed for you, or you may be temporarily banned depending on the situation.
How do I know how many warnings I have?
Your warning will include which number warning you are currently on.
Administration related Questions
What sort of duration variation is there for being banned?
We tend to hand out temporary bans for minor offenses, such as requesting outside the requests section. They typically last for 24-48 hours. More serious offenses will necessitate longer bans, and blatant rule violation may result in a permanent ban. Repeated serious rule violation will result in an IP ban.
Is it possible to be permanently banned with no prior first offense?
It's possible but extremely difficult to do.
How does one report an image in the image section that is in violation of the rules?
We haven't implemented that feature yet, but it's coming soon. Right now all you can do is contact an admin (Jacob, Raze, or Nikon) with a link to said picture.

Why can’t I download Videos? / What happened to the Torrents?
FAKKU does not provide direct downloads to hosted videos; only torrents.
So if you want to download something you are in need of a Bit Torrent (Client), for example http://www.bittorrent.com/
Torrents unfortunately, being a P2P method of file distribution, die out after some time. Do NOT contact a staff member to reupload a video, or you might find yourself banned from the site for a few days.
Can I use a Download Accelerator?
No, you may not.

It means exactly what it says. When the number of online users exceeds 1200, the image section is disabled, because it's a big strain on our servers.

How can I contribute to FAKKU?
There are tons of ways. You can upload images, post doujin/games/movies in the User Uploads section, or contribute intelligently to ongoing discussion, click the ads, donate by Paypal to jacob@fakku.net... so many ways. Just don't break any rules while you work your way up.
How can regular users contribute to the Manga, Doujinshi, Games or Video sections?
Post a single thread in the respective User Uploads sub-forum with what you've uploaded, a description, preview pics (preferably) and links (See also User Upload Regulations).
Can you remove the Ads?
No. Be glad the advertising on this site is so minimal, otherwise the staff would be rich men. We try very hard to make sure our ads are not too intrusive. Running a site this big takes a lot of money, so we highly encourage you to click on the ads if it's not too much trouble.
Why do you censor Images/Doujinshi?
It's not like we go through every single doujin and blur it up. If we did, we'd probably be the most unpopular hentai site on the web. Porn from Japan is always censored, and any uncensored content is due to their being licensed in the US. Some exceptional doujins that are chosen to be translated by our own translation team are sometimes also decensored, but even this is not official and is only a faithful recreation of what it originally might have been.

These are a set of rules that must be followed in IRC. Any violations of these rules may be acted upon in the appropriate manner IE: Kick or Ban

How do I see what files are hosted on IRC?
To view all the files that are currently being hosted on IRC, type in /msg Hagu-chan XDCC list. You should then get a private message from Hagu-chan. Hagu should give you a list of what's being hosted on #fakku.
How do I download the files once I've seen them?
To download the desired file, you type in /msg Hagu-chan XDCC SEND followed by the number that is next to the file you wish to download.
So if you wanted to download "#1 78x [197M] [FAKKU]Hentai[D6F744EF].avi" you would type in /msg Hagu-chan XDCC SEND 1. The download should then begin. You must stay connected to IRC until the download is complete.

my main question was about the yaoi and yuri, and i meant manga. i ask because some sites are homophobic only towards yaoi, and others want none of it at all.

Second, regarding our Question. As you maybe aware or not, Fakku is only providing Torrent Links for Videos.

Further while the World is changing, so does the Internet as well.
Torrent Links tend to lose their validation over some time. So if a link doesn`t work you need to wait, till our kind Administration updates them.
And while they are more important things to do, this can take sometime.

Not really because one can only see your signature in the profile page. Jacob disabled it in the forums, which I believe was a good move because it allows less scrolling for the same amount of material to read. But use common sense when choosing a signature - since signatures are often incorporated into forum posts (not at FAKKU), they often are horizontal and small, say 450x150 pixels. (Least that's my signature size.) Anything tremendously larger than that would be dumb and you'd run into technical difficulties as Mr.Stupid (that's his actual username) found out that his oversized picture wouldn't work (There's a thread about sig size in this very section). I'd say nothing no larger than 200x600 pixels at most.

I mean in the posts, the sigs are disabled. You can see your sig in your profile page, but that's about it. That's what I meant. I remember when Jacob made the announcement of taking the sigs off the threads because it was too much clutter. If you remember Chuu's sig, that shit took up an entire page before he changed it.

I remember when Jacob made the announcement of taking the sigs off the threads because it was too much clutter. If you remember Chuu's sig, that shit took up an entire page before he changed it.

You're totally right. But I prefer no sigs since I'm totally used to not seeing them anyways. And like Jacob said, less clutter.

To gain Elite status, you must have 500 posts. Refer to the Forum rules.

For the FAKKU Elder status, you must have 1000 posts. Again, refer to the forum rules. These numbers are subject to change at administrative discretion as the forum grows.
