Selling through other shops (Europe)

Are there any ideas to sell the books through other shops like bookdepository?
I live in the Netherlands and the shipping is almost the same as the price of the books themselves. In the Netherlands there is also the high possibility that we need to pay extra if they opened the package and we need to pay tax (which is normal) plus cash on delivery (cash for the "service" of the post office for paying the tax for you so it can leave customs which in this case is much higher than the tax). This is only for packages out of Europe. Since this can triple the price of the books (if a single book is ordered), is there a possibility to solve this?

The UK's United Publications have told me that they're looking to stock Fakku's releases. At present they only have Renai Sample. Shipping to mainland Europe probably won't be cheap but at least there won't be any extra charges to pay.
Fakku are really missing a trick with their limited distribution. There are a lot of fans in Europe and elsewhere clamouring for their releases but for whom the shipping of books (and in some countries additional taxes) from the US is prohibitively expensive. Fakku haven't been publishing for long, though, so hopefully they will address this in the near future.

It won't be saving you much. You would still be paying for the bulk shipping to Europe plus local taxes and/or tariffs/custom fees. Only canada would this work since free trade between them an the us. Mexico also. Japan if it was legal to sell after the asia trade thingy probably.
Jacob would have had to ship a pallet from the printers in Hong Kong to Europe to even save you 7 dollars or so. You still would have to pay local taxes since I'm pretty sure you're not when you buy from fakku.

Buying direct from a European retailer should be a lot cheaper for those of us in Europe. The aforementioned United Publications have Renai Sample for £13 - roughly $20. They, along with larger sellers such as Amazon UK and The Book Depository, also sell Eros and Project H books for more or less the equivalent of their US retail prices. It helps that there's no tax on printed material in the UK.

We'll figure out a way to make our books available in Europe. And long term we'll start looking translating them to other languages (French, German, etc).

I'd love to order some of your books to Germany, but unfortunately I'd pay far more for the S&H than for the books themselves. :/

I would also highly recommend checking out if you could make a deal with Bookdepository. They already sell hentai manga (project H stuff) and because they offer free shipping world wide they would be an excellent option for a lot of people to use, even outside Europe.

Bookdepository would be pretty ideal, but suffice to say it's really hard to get on there as a small and (relatively) new publisher.
