[Locked] Some new titles in Fakku.

Twenty-five posts certainly feels a lot to me, but I suppose it might be a little low for some of you. If you can see where I'm coming from, I'm trying to stop people who make approximately twenty spam posts every hour to attain the next rank, but indeed, a post count limit is quite a harsh measure to implement in any forum, particularly one as liberal as ours. I'll talk with the other admins and see what they think, and if there is any other way to discourage spamming.

It's quite ironic we're having to deal with this, because half a year ago all three of us admins thought up and implemented ways to get people to post more.

Spamming died when almost every RST member left. I haven't seen any spam lately except for a derailment in the post your pics thread.

But since you're clearly after just the spammers, don't let the people who actually make solid posts take shit for it, that's all im saying.

So that's why i haven't seen alot of the familiar users around for some time.

They're talking about the random squad. They made their own website recently.

The IRC people wouldn't stop complaining about RST is a waste of bandwidth and were pointless. So after Mike closed 2.0 because the IRC was complaining we got fed up and left. Half of the RST doesn't come to Fakku anymore. IDK why but there choice. So yah thats that.

That doesn't sound like driving off members. That sounds like forum policing, which is a mod's job anyway. It sounds to me like RST was simply spamming shit. If that was it, then half of them leaving is actually for the better.

Sheesh you guys make it sound like those of us in IRC are constantly bitching about the RS. We don't, we just told them to stop being disruptive when they were doing so and mocked them for the dumb stuff they did. Honestly I have no idea why Mike locked the second RS thread, it was already past the 1000 post point so it's not like it was amusing or something to do so. Btw if you look at IB before the RS people showed up it was a lot less about spam than they made it end up being so I can actually say that it's not a place that you're supposed to post tons of spam in (I think the original intent was for a small amount of spam).

I always wondered why people say we spam. Isn't Spam meaningless BS that has no topic or subject?. In the RST we had everything from General Conversation to Lesbian Cyber Sex, From Helping each other with our problems to serious discussions. If we simpley did nothing but say Desu Uguu and other random words thats spam IMO. We had contests too that I put alot of thought into, hows that spam?

I have a hard time believing a 1723-page thread can be made in a month without spamming it to death.
