Not to jump the gun but a brand new user named Taminisia, joined 7-13-07, linked posts to shopping sights, selling pills to spy ware protectors, in a post on the user download manga/doujinshi forum. I read the policy on spam and it seemed really strict so I thought I would bring it up.
If it turn out to be nothing im srry to place blame of raise a false alarm, can't be too safe. Maybe I'm just upset that there was no hentai :(

We delete those kind of threads on sight. I guess one of us missed it at the time. They're usually (if not always) a newly created account and are usually (if not always) posted on Babbling.
It's a habit, but I always give them -1 Rep before deleting the thread XD
Anyways, Jacob said IP banning isn't helping the situation =/ But it doesn't seem like it's happening too often anyways.
Edit: I wish we had some sort of report system so these kind of things can be quickly brought to our attention.

Yeah, I've seen a number of those over the past few weeks, but you guys seem to get rid of them pretty quickly. Some sort of report/topic delete option would be nice for dealing with spam. The problem though is that it would have to be restricted I think to avoid misuse by new members.

Would this be the right place to bring awareness to the user EdibleMuffin who has been constantly spamming on a manga every single minute, fakku really needs a report button I think! His spamming means that you can't comment on the manga because it will get pushed right down the the bottom of the comments list, never to be seen again

If you want to report something, but there's no button, PM the admins.
