Spambot bans are banning browser with no accounts?

Kinda of a odd issue, I was ban and I can only assumed unbanned since I can now get to the forums for browsing pictures without an account. I don't have an account on this website that I remember, nor do I make post on this site.
Just figure I'll give a heads up that the spambot script is possibly banning people who are merely browsing. Since a quick search didn't show anyone else has brought up this issue.

No. I was banned for being a Spambot but I didn't have an account. Thus I wasn't making any post and was just browsing with no account.

Because you are using an IP of a known spammer. Not likely its a bug. However you can send me the IP address you were using to access at that exact time and I can take a look to confirm this.
