Signup needs a new format. We need to have new users wait to post comments on the site, or have them apply some form of id to prove they are human. And if they are human, then they are fucking dicks and should be shot. But still, why fakku? We only post up anime porn, nothing that could get spamming attention.

Also, I suggest an automatic perma-ban function for users who post the same things [words, links, etc.] three times in a row.

Agreed. Spam bot is getting damn annoying.

The signup process needs to be updated with captchas.

Posting of links should not be disallowed.

But perhaps a script can be written to check if the user posts more than 3 links in 5 minutes, account is auto flagged and disabled and a moderator is emailed.

Moderator can then determine if account should be banned or if it was an honest mistake.

And as someone already mentioned, another good way to let the community self moderate is a report spam link. If someone has more than XX number of reports, their account is auto disabled and moderator is notified. =)
