Suggestions from a new user

Hi, I am a new user and newer to hentai in general. I'll be posting my introduction thread over in the meet and greet section.
I wanted to suggest an idea for the tag system. Imagine a tag filter that would be under settings. It would look a lot like the current tag menu that is linked at the top of the page. Under each of the tags there would be a green checkmark and a red x. The green checkmark would be the default setting and that would mean that the tags content would be visible to you. The red x would hide the content from your viewing pleasure. I feel this would be a user friendly alternative to using the +/- search bar system.
Another idea I had pertains to artist discovery. I like that the site gives a clear path to prequel/sequel chapters. This is how I found I liked Bobobo's work. Not every piece of work though from an artist is a prequel/sequel and that is where my idea comes into play. The site could notify you that there are X amount of chapters from said artist you have not read. This could happen after reading/saving for later/favoriting so many pieces from the artist.
A) This could help users find artists they may like when they otherwise may not be paying attention to the artist, but rather what the content itself is.
B) Push older chapters into users reading list that are kind of buried as more new chapters are added to the site.
A list could even be added to the user's account stating the top 5 artists that they read the most of. This is another way the site can provide the user with data that they can find useful.
I'll post my intro thread later and I'll include a link to this thread in it.

I think an intuitive way of doing it would be for the search engine to recognize the tags and create a color coded bubble for them. Green for added and red for subtracted. Then when a user presses space they understand that you can include more tags. Teaching them that you can exclude tags wouldn't be as obvious tho.

I would also love an 'add all' for an artist, to make adding chapter to my 'to read later' list.
