The serious discussion fourm

I'm happy to see how serious people can get on a porn site rather than being goofy in the babbling section it's awsome the topics and each of your opinions just gives me more knowledge and more to look foward to :D

Yeah, I was also surprised it became popular quickly and lured in people who don't usually post. I'm actually looking forward for more threads in there. So far, we haven't had any major flames or personal attacks. I just want to remind people to attack the ideas, not the person. With that said, people shouldn't take certain comments seriously. When a debate occurs, the tension thickens and sparks fly.

Serious discussion forums are good for any site, methinks. Anyone can use a good debate or some good advice.

Wasn't it you who first suggested the creation of the Serious Discussion forum XD?

If you hadn't caught on yet, I don't like the assortment of topics that go on in that forum. They are old, and dated. Its like if I were to come in there and start a topic asking "So, who thought the Civil War was right, or wrong?". The fact that 90% or more of the posters in each of those topics agree with each other, it makes it pointless. There is just about zero debating going on. I refuse to post there anymore because as the rules state, i'm not supposed to flame, which i've been very close to.

So make a topic about something you believe should be debated. Problem solved.

I don't see how the debate about abortion, healthcare, war, amnesty bill are outdated when theres alot to say and there still is no solution...

IMO serious debate on whether serious debates are debateable through serious debate-tion (debate)

I guess its okay for you, but not for me, since I disagree with the whole concept. Ohhhh well. 8)
