[Locked] To the mod who merged my music thread into CTFG

I and a vast amount of users would gladly appreciate that this not be done again. My thread the "rate the song above you" was moved from the music section into CTFG and merged with the "what song are you listening to right now" thread.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that this action makes no sense at all, so i would like whomever the mod that did this to refrain from doing it in the newly recreated v3.

And for reference, the v1 of the thread was originally moved from the music section to CTFG, but after talks and consent from gambler and tsujoi it was moved back into the music section.

Rate the music IS NOT a forum game.

• It's a way Fakku users share and appreciate our tastes in music and let them know the reality, if people really like or dislike them in general.

• It's a way to know the title of the song we once knew but have almost forgotten.

To the kind mods of this forum, I believe it's best that we should prevent this from happening again. It was such a disappointment for me to see my favorite thread to be moved and considered as a pointless forum game.

Both threads were entirely different, I do not understand why they were even merged together to begin with.

I think they did that like a year ago.. or is it the new one that replace the one i use to play backintheday.

Even if that were true, the momentary lapse in judgment to merge it with another thread that has nothing to do with the other, other than they both feature music, was just stupid.

If anything, the "Rate the Song Above You" thread should be in CTFG, and "What are you listening to right now?" should be in Music. But given the fact that this issue has already been brought up for V1 of the thread and has been given permission before to remain in the Music section, I think someone just fucked up and hasn't admitted to it yet.

Too much quick post spamming for anything outside IB/CTFG.

But I definitely agree that these two threads should never have been merged...

I'm adding myself to the list of people who disagree with the merge and move.

It does not make any sense to me to have that thread moved to CTFG.
Especially when V1 was put back to Music after it was moved.

Again? at least have the balls to say something to us.


edit: such childish mods on an 'adult' website. locking the thread in a weak and obviuos attempt to get the last word.

It appears that most users would like "Rate the song above you" to stay in Music, so it'll stay there until either:
1.) I forget (not likely)
2.) Some other mod moves it
