Topic/Post character limit?
0
Does anyone know how many characters are allowed in a new topics and posts? I know it's 1500 for comments as long as you don't use the Enter key. (Tested it out myself with several comments.)

As far as I know there isn't one. Just now as a test I kept copypasting the word "Test" and copypasted the copypastes ad infinitum until the window gave out and crashed.
I didn't hit any kind of word limit, nor did the words at the beginning of the post and at the end (hello and goodbye) get replaced to compensate for one.

With the restriction it usually says after you try to post, not before. So if your window crashed, you didn't get a chance to try to post it. For comments after you hit post, it says the comment was too long. (Loads a page saying that or something similar.)
I don't want to post spam to see if there is a limit though. I could delete it right after, but still. (Like I did with the test comments.)

Just tried to post said thread in a super secret forum (with the text in a Spoiler) but CloudFlare timed out.
I'm going to guess that there is no limit but the site won't be able to handle it.

Good enough for me, the answer. I guess I wouldn't be able to do what I was thinking about.
