Unable to purchase physical books

So, as the title says, I'm unable to purchase physical books all of a sudden (as in, I've done so many times before). When I click "add to cart" or "Buy now", I used to get an option for digital or physical+digital, but it's adding the digital to my cart straight away with no option for both. Is there a new system in place for such purchases now, is it bugged, or is there something I'm missing?

They had to rebuild the entire store in late August/September - physical book purchases have been unavailable since then.

I looks like they're tracking who's buying digital purchases and offering a deal on physical copies once that option returns, since their most recent book release (Fun Milking Time) says this on the product page:
"Paperback is TBD, we are printing this title as we would any other title and you will have an option to upgrade to a physical version once we're able to get that feature properly rolled out. There's a lot of leg work required, so we really appreciate your patience with us."

But I haven't heard anything about them offering digital downloads for those who purchase physical copies from other sites (I vaguely remember people asking about it). So if you want to read it right away, buy the digital copy here and you can upgrade to a physical copy when Fakku offers them again. If you want a physical copy, you'll need to order it elsewhere (and if the book's a newer one/preorder, it'll still be a while until you get a copy).

Thanks for the information. I think my last order was early summer, so that checks out (I usually order 2 - 4 at a time to save on shipping). I'll write them and see what they recommend.

If we buy from one of these stores, can we provide proof of purchase to receive the digital copy as well, or is it better to purchase the digital copy and wait for Fakku to provide an "upgrade" for the physical book as well?

Purchasing from these links would be physical only. If you'd like both digital and physical, I'd suggest either buying it digital through up and waiting for the physical store to come back with the upgrade option - or waiting until the physical store is up and buying digital + Physical at the same time (to ensure stock availability of the physical edition)

Also, all paperback books that are not on pre-order, are now available for purchase!

Hi Zach, if we purchased the digital version already for a book that is out (I haven't looked to see if any of the ones are yet, this is just general question), will we get a discount on the paper version? I would hope so given that is what it was before the fakku store error...

They were going to program a buy paperback option that just only as another $10+shipping to your digital purchase. The old way was to buy the full price paperback version and send them the digital and the paperback order numbers and they refund you the digital price back to your card.

It's still in the works, though I don't have the details on it. We wanted to be able to get the physical book sales out as quickly as we could once we got it built, so we're still working on things like the upgrade system, preorders (as right now we're not selling books currently on preorder) and more. Keep an eye out on the forums for updates about it as Jacob will likely post about it once it's ready!
