User Avatars Fixed

Avatar uploads are working! The downtime was due to a server migration, previously avatars were served from our application server (along with the core FAKKU code), now they have their own server! This will free up resources on the application servers and should make everything a little faster.

However we lost about 24 - 48 hours of avatar uploads from a week ago, if you are missing your avatar you can either upload a new one or post in this thread and I will recover the missing one.

Tried with a sized avi and it doesn't work but using the on board cropping function it works.

It works now. Though the sig changing part is disabled. Oh sweet it's back. Thank you for fixing the problem.

My avatar was actually one of the ones that got deleted in the process, it seems, but I still had the picture handy, so no worries!

I'm glad to hear the avatar issue is finally fixed.

Nice one. I don't change avis often so it didn't affect me but, still nice.

Liking the new addition of seeing our sigs in our profile, as well. Sig test threads and posting for the sake of sig testing is finally rendered obsolete.

I'm trying to upload a photo from my ipad2 library. Actually, any photo. It says "Safari cannot open page because network connection was lost"

any tips? Idk what I'm doing wrong...

my avy won't let me resize and it's a black box whenever I try uploading a new one.

I think it's somehow broken again.

Tried uploading one of my old Avatars, that doesn't need any resizing and got the black box.

then I tried changing with the Fakku Gold Avatar History, the request didn't went through after the system asking confirmation with encrypted stuff.

somehow I managed to upload it again, but I still can't change via the Avatar History.

Seems to be broken if you upload an avatar smaller than the default dimensions, I'll try to get this fixed next week.

Mine are always exactly the default dimensions, but I'm getting a black avatar as well. Oh, well, I'll survive until it's fixed.

D: Houston, we have a problem. My upload was a black avatar, and when trying to go back to my original it just is a white screen that doesn't load "http://upload.fakku.net/avatar/submit"

Dunno if this will help, using Chrome Version 37.0.2062.124 m

The current problem.
-If you upload an avatar that doesn't need cropping you'll get the black box
-Changing Avatars via the Fakku Gold History gets you the white screen.

So, the only thing to get an avatar is upload something big and use the cropping.
