The current problem.
-If you upload an avatar that doesn't need cropping you'll get the black box
-Changing Avatars via the Fakku Gold History gets you the white screen.
So, the only thing to get an avatar is upload something big and use the cropping.

If it isn't allowed any size less than 160x261 I think it should be said where you upload your avatar. I mean, I was about a day lurking for the solution and trying to get my own OK, while a simple line of text could have been the solution.

I'm seeing people who can change their avatars, so I'm guessing this a problem exclusive to people like us?

Not quite.
I think people are just doing the cropping and resizing in photoshop or paint.
I just changed my avi with that.
