[Locked] Video Games Masterlist

Well, it came across my mind on how most of us want to share our experience about games and make a thread about it. But, since there are possibility we're actually reposting, I wanna suggest a masterlist thread on Video Games section. Apparently Cruz is working on it, and I'm just wondering if his thread can be stickied or something so that it's easier to look for.

TLDR: Cruz is working on a games masterlist thread, is it possible to sticky that thread?

Might want to make a separate masterlist thread though.

You'll have to wait before anyone can grant this wish. We have to clear master lists with Jake first. Kaimax isn't wrong, report it, we just might not act on the report until Jake says alright.

Can I go ahead and just post the updated anime master list as well then? And if Jacob says no when he gets back to you then I guess it can just die away. I've had it saved, gone back 40 pages so far, it's mostly done.

The only thing we need to request is if it can be stickied, so you can make as many master lists as you want.

Well I made the thread(still 100% up to date though). I'll send a request to Jacob.

I suggested Kaimax ask Jake because he'll most likely reach Jake faster, but who knows.

I would actually like to do away with masterlists. I do not think it is a bad thing if someone makes a new topic to discuss something that has been talked about previously.

Only proplem I can see is a lot of users saying stuff like "this is already a thread learn to use search"

Jake doesnt care about multiple threads about the same topic, it's just that the rest of us do.

I think a master list of general topics should stay, but discussing certain aspects should be allowed in different posts.

I have to disagree, mastelists are often useful as they link to stuff that comes up time after time: patches for games, translation patches for VNs, download links, you name it.

Granted, these have little to do with discussion, but for threads *not* discussing stuff, masterlists are a godsend to stem the incessant stream of requests.

From what I understand is Jacob is alright with a new thread being made every time(every patch, every update), he doesn't care if one subject gets multiple posts. So necroing and multiple posts(short of spam of course) are legal.

I could see a masterlist being useful in this situation, but I am against masterlists for any kind of discussion topics.

In short, you just don't like masterlists? Well fair enough your call.
