[Locked] What are the true requirements for unlocking hidden tags?

Pages 12Next

After sticking around for a few weeks, it seems to be as if no one exactly knows what requirements there are to unlock hidden tags. The requirement that was initially thrown around was needing to have 15 posts, after that didn't work it was said that the account needs to be 2 weeks old, which also doesn't work. I have also sent a support ticket since it was suggested that the influx of new users somehow "broke" the setting, but to no avail. Judging from other posts, none of the new users have gotten it to appear, so it's not just me either.

So, instead of leaving it up to air, can we please get an actual staff response of what it takes to have the setting appear?

I seriously doubt anyone from the FAKKU staff would state what the real requirements are unless they are on their way out and want to give a huge middle finger to FAKKU.

You've clearly been reading the forums (thank you so much for that instead of just posting haphazardly) so you must have come across WHY there is a requirement and WHY there is a need for hidden tags (for those of you who don't know, it's basically for legal reasons if what was said on the forums is true). If anyone from FAKKU staff came on the forums and publicly gave the answer then they would be defeating the purpose of having hidden tags in the first place. (And if they did, then I'd probably consider unsubscribing. I don't want my credit card info to be in the hands of folks who'd make a decision that dumb.)

I feel for folks like you who want to see the controversial tags or at least know they are paying for full access. I sure as hell didn't know what allowed me access to those tags. But I'm hoping if you end up sticking around, that you'll get to see them sooner rather than later.

Maybe IPs from countries where certain tags are illegal are locked out. I don't know if it's actually like this, no Fakku tag is illegal where I live.

Well, whatever the reason for the ambiguity, it would be nice to see it addressed more promptly for those seeking out the full contents of the site. It sounds like people have been questing for weeks, which is kind of a slow turn around.

Yes it would certainly help to have clear info on this. I don't see what it would change anyway, it's not like it's a secret that the option exist.

I would like to know this too. If I can't see hidden tags then I have no interest in fakku.

It's incest, loli, shota, and forced, if you never interested in anything in fakku you'll never see those, that's the only hint I'll give.

WHat is that supposed to mean?

there is few reason to why they are hidden

1. Certain tags are illegal in certain countries, states etc.

2. A lot of hosting servers, ISP etc do not like certain tags, loli and shota is big no for a lot of them.
from Fakku point, server host can stop hosting fakku, there ISP may drop them, from user point, their ISP may get the user in trouble.

3. Card payments companies also do not like certain tags, loli and shota is big no for a lot of them.
you find that a lot of ISP, server hosts, card processing companies class loli and shota as being the same as CP.

4. staff will not give an answer as if anyone from the number 2 or 3 come and see than they will stop working with fakku.

What has worked for people in the past:

1. Getting 15 post
In past any post in the Incoherent Babbling did not count towards your post count
it does now but whether it counts towards the 15 needed is unkown.

2. Having an account for 2+ weeks

is there a way to get it quicker?
Yes, just sent a support ticket.

I've heard this be said before, but to me the idea that the tags are hidden for some kind of legal reasons seems like poppycock. The fact that Fakku has controversial content is not "hidden" in any shape or form, everyone knows of their existence and if you search a little bit through the forums you can even see administrators themselves explaining to users how to enable the said tags back when they were first locked away.
If someone for whatever reason wanted to make legal allegations towards Fakku, and they were under the belief that Fakku is distributing illegal content, believe me, they would not simply search the tags and go "Welp, nothing here." Legal investigations are much more thorough than that.
Same goes for your ISP providers and credit card companies, someone would have to submit a serious, documented complaint for the site to be investigated, and once again, someone who is searching for the tags will find evidence of them very easily.

imo, it is far more likely that the reason the tags are hidden is due to marketability, they are called "controversial" for a reason. They do not sit right with the average consumer and seeing such content on the front page of the site might not paint a good impression for them, maybe even permanently turn them away.
When you look at it from that point of view, it makes sense to have it like that. If you have been here for several weeks already and even have several posts on the forum, it means that you are a part of the "community" at that point and are unlikely to leave even if you find out about the tags accidentally.

So, again, I don't see the point of being "hush hush" about the whole thing.

ISP and card companies can drop clients very easily, they will simple claim fakku brokes it terms and condition.

before fakku went legit
it did have adds
the add company dropped fakku from using their services because of loli.

Which is pretty much what I said. ISP/Card companies don't exactly routinely check porn sites though, but they do check it when it is brought to their attention, and if it was brought to their attention, they would find out about the existence of the tags with almost minimal effort. So again, making the "it's for legal reasons" a moot point.

Again, what you're saying doesn't go against what I said. You are talking about marketability, yes, it's difficult to convince someone to place ads on a site that might contain content they don't agree with, but it's nowhere near impossible, take a look at 4chan or even shadbase, both serve way more controversial content than Fakku ever has, but still manage to have some ads.

Compared to those two and many more, Fakku is more "mainstream" and it shouldn't be too hard to place ads on the site, but considering it's a premium site, I think they honestly don't feel like they need to.

Yes, just sent a support ticket.

I have had this account for a month, have over 15 posts and I submitted a support ticket that is being ignored apparently, and I still cannot access the hidden tags.

In line with what Jordan_Lomay said but even worse I sent in a support ticket about this on April 9th (over a month ago) and it's been ignored / never got a reply. Also well over 2 weeks old and 15 posts and nothing.

Kinda a joke. Why even bother. Every single time I check it's just a disappointment and a waste of time, probably better off just removing the site from my history and never visiting again. That's the impression you're giving btw.

Also I see the other topic people were posting about this in was deleted. Not like I can know the exact reason but doesn't seem good at all.

The site doesn't own you a response if you aren't a subscriber or not buy a doujin here.

It's that simple.

Wait I'm confused about the support ticket requirement. Is it for any old problem or do I have to like specifically request they allow me to unlock the hidden tags in the subject and message?
