Design Feedback!

There were a few problems around the site that have been fixed. The translator information pages have been broken for about a week or so, they are now working again. So go ahead and check out the pages for redCoMet, YQII, and FAKKU.

There was also a bug within the user favorite system where empty favorite slots were not displaying properly. And since they were not being displayed, they could not be replaced and users could not add new favorites. This has been fixed. So everyone with a registered account should log in and go add your favorite manga to your favorites page. Just click "Add to Favorites" on any view manga page.

But moving on to the point of this post, I would like some feedback on the new (now old) redesign. When it was first released there was a lot of hate on the horizontal post stats on the forums, but I hope everyone has grown used to and now love it. Because I do. Other than fixing the images section, what things do you think can be improved on the site?

I think your To-do list and the other suggestions down at Feedback, Suggestions, and Support are all that we want to see fixed/implemented for now.

Tags for mangas, so we can search for specific genres of hentai doujins please ^_^.

I just want to get everything else on the site finished before I start with the image section.

That's a good idea, other than that I think everything is great :D.

I especially love how the images for the manga pages are much bigger.

Let's not put such an enormous burden on Jacob all of a sudden. When he let's us edit manga, I would be glad to put what that doujin has in the description.

The only thing that comes to my mind that needs fixing would be the forums search function. Ever since the redesign of the site when the search tool for the forums was changed I haven't ever been able to get it to work; it always just pulls up a bunch of random threads. Does anyone else have the same problem or is it just me?

Yea I know, just throwing it out there..plus I think he's already considered it. To me that's the only thing missing from this website.

Yes, it'd be cool if we could also add the tags ourselves. I could tag old doujins since I have loads of time on my hands.

I'd say fix what you already know then ask us after you get further along because the site is moving along nicely now it's hard to gauge what should be added with out it turning into request fest of stuff you were already planning on.

As said before, tags would be great. Also, I've noticed that a lot of the videos have died. For example Stringendo & Accelerendo Ultimatum Sera. The MU link is dead and the streaming isn't working too. Other than that, Fakku seems great.

As I've said in a few site updates:

Please make it so we can open multiple mangas into multiple tabs. When I first joined FAKKU, I could. After the site began to change, I was unable to.

Old FAKKU:
When mangas were updated, I would sort mangas by newest. Then I would open each manga I wanted into a new tab and download each one.

New FAKKU:
When mangas are updated, I sort mangas by newest. I now have to load 1 manga at a time, download, then go back to the list of mangas again and load the next manga I wanted. This method takes a lot longer to download all the ones I want. If I try to open multiple mangas into multiple tabs, the last manga I tried to open gets opened on every FAKKU tab open.

Please fix it. :(
