FAKKU Kickstarter: Legend of the Overfiend

We've teamed up with Toshio Maeda to publish a completely remastered edition of Urotsukidoji - Legend of the Overfiend.

This is really exciting! Even more than releasing an HD touch up, to have Mr. Maeda actually go back and modernize the art is certainly more than expected. I hope the Kickstarter is successful and that it meets all the stretch goals as well. We need the entire series to come out in full.

Best of luck to the publication team, and to Maeda-sensei as well. Looking forward to seeing how the project develops!

After one day and reaching over 50% of the initial goal it's pretty save to say that this project will get funded.
Let's hope we will get lots of interesting stretch goals, my suggestion for one of the final goals would be a hardcover and oversized version of the books...

I have no idea what this is, but this sounds like a great idea so im gonna fund it and see what happens.

I just pledged to the $110 tier (signed copy of the first paperback). I was relieved to see a few (13, as of now) still be available. What a great opportunity to receive Toshio Maeda's signature, in addition to a copy of FAKKU's first volume release for "Legend of the Overfiend".

One question, though. Will the second/third/fourth paperbacks be available only through this Kickstarter, or will they be made available later as well (maybe through your online store)? I'd love to grab all four, but money is a bit tight for me at the moment. I could up-pledge to the $160 tier (I should be able to manage that), but then I'd lose the signed copy. I can't have that!

Yes! All books will be added to your FAKKU account like a normal FAKKU release (assuming our Kickstarter is funded).
