I am quite a bit late watching this anime, but I am enjoying it so much that I figured I'd share it with the rest of you that haven't seen it. I tried watching it a year ago and it didn't grab my attention at all, started it again earlier today and I can't stop watching.

haha i love that show.... i had the same problem u did, i didnt like it the first time i saw it, but then a few months later i sat down and watched both seasons in like a week

Been the same for me. I dropped it on my first try only to devour it a month or two ago. You should have a fun watch till the end and even then there's also the sequel...

Honey and Clover is my second favorite series right behind Clannad. It is good stuff.
I've got them all burned to DVD on a nice playable format to watch on my T.V. ^_^

i saw this anime on the Hungarian Animax and it's not my taste i rather go watch Haruhi season 2 instead or Gits on animax

It's an anime that I should watch, but haven't mainly because the art style and the heavily-loaded-with-drama plot turned me away.

I Did get around to watching this when it first came out. The OVA's and second season are all really well done also.

a good mix of drama romance and comedy, loved it be ready for the Second Season though since its gonna be heavy on the drama and lees on the comedy none the less great

great anime, definitely on my top5, if not higher!
suggestion, if you liked "HachiKuro", you will most likely love Nodame Cantabile also. Same humor/drama combo that will glue you to the screen until you have finished it... and then leaves you crying for more. then you thank the gods there was a season2 and more on the works.
