Instead of have a preset list of tags, why not have a little text box where users can add the tags they want and it can have multiple tags. Some other sites do that and its works fairly well. I know that some people might post GANG RAPE FUCK TITTING but I'm sure a filter can be put on it or someone can just keep check. If this doesn't seem good, you can make it so that only the uploader applies the tags.

how bout adding translator tags?? Like which group worked on this doujinshi and such..
I'm not sure about the others but I like to follow the works of translators just because sometimes they work on specific kinds of hentai (like nice stories, art, etc..)

I mean have staff and mods put some main tags that everyone searches for.
if users want more detailed searches have a user submitted tag search. That everyone could use for searching.
The 250+ post count is so trusted users will be the ones tagging.
That way some one who never posted before/doesn't care about the site wont fill the tags with useless stuff.

you should avoid combining unrelated tags. For example, group rape should be two seperate tags, rape, and group.
Also, it should be more specific. For example, instead of a generic "transgender" tag it should have tags such as "crossdressed male, crossdressed female, male to female transexual, female to man transexual, hermaphrodite, other";
To avoid displaying way too many tags at once (when not specifically viewing all tags), it can be seperated into major and minor tags... maybe have the minor tags as "sub tags"... so you can have a major tag "transgender" with the minor tags as I have listed above. A good idea is to have a tag tree structure where tags can have subtags which can then have their own subtags.

If you want to get really fancy then you can have "person type" tags which should then be linkable via an action tag (ex "rape, oral, anal, vaginal".) so you could have male-anal-female, male-oral-hermaphrodite, etc. But this might be going too far.
Naturally more compact and less vulgar words can be used. Such as paizure instead of titfucking. But it shouldn't get too exotic as to require a dictionary to decipher.

I'm a person who asks alot of questions but wouldn't it be great if fakku had the tags under an advanced search page? A good example would be like mangafox. That makes searching a whole lot easier. I know I went off topic but it's still about tags, right?(sorry if I annoyed anyone†¢~†¢)
I just realized that there would be so many catgories because with hentai the imagination has no boundries........i guess to catorgize all those mangas its gonna have to be somewhat general.
Maybe something like group, monster(this includes things like tentacles and demons), fantasy(it's more like magical things or maybe about the future but it could intertwine with monster I guess), romance,ect. But anyways i have a feeling this list is going to be long.
