I have changed our RSS feed to run through FeedBurner. It will let me know how many subscribers we have each day. So make sure you update your live bookmarks to:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/fakku
Also is there any interest in more RSS feeds on the site? For specific forums or manga categories?

hmm...maybe for a specific series? or maybe author? damn...for doujins, it would be difficult cuz there are loads more independent series rather than specialised ones!
regarding the forums, if RSS can be done on specific threads (which i think it's not possible, but who knows?) then that would be cool!

I feel like a RSS feed for anything more specific than a general update would be too time consuming and, in the end, a waste of time. I sure you guys don't want to create something and then have it that no one uses it. It would be a shame because the people the operate the site do a lot of thankless work and I would hate to see them put their time into something that people don't care about.

I don't know if anyone else has realized this yet but the image section is still down. And seeing how images would probably be more wanted than say minor bug fixes I would have thought that it would have been done by now...

It appears that the template header is still pointing at the old https://www.fakku.net/rss RSS location
If you change that file to return a "302 redirect" to FeedBurner feed, and have FeedBurner point to a new feed location (lets say /blog/rss2.php) (this avoids infinite loops) then I think that should migrate all the current subscribers over to FeedBurner, without users having to take any action...

If we got the image section back up it might be nice to have an rss feed that updates daily or something and just tells us how many pictures were added and in what categories so we wouldn't have to obsessive-compulsively look through. And I bet some people would like an rss feed that just gives us links to the latest doujins, but then we'd probably stop even reading the news updates and become total leeches.
