NYAF Wrap Up

Had an awesome time at New York Anime Festival this past weekend. Which is funny because a lot of people were suggesting that NYAF wasn't a very good convention. But we met a good 40-50 users from the site and sold over 100 shirts! Got to meet the last Facebook contest winner in person and they received a handful of free stuff from my friends at the Secret Shop (which was in the dealers room) courtesy of J-List. All in all it was an amazing weekend and I will definitely be returning next year.
Later on tonight I will (hopefully) have an update for the site and maybe some stories from NYAF. Until then if anyone went to the convention and wants to post some pictures, go ahead and use this topic.
EDIT: Due to some recent events on the forums I will now be taking over Garfest. This was never an official FAKKU event, and I don't want it to be viewed as one, but it has turned into something that a lot of the users enjoy. I will be creating new battles everyday in order to get it finished as soon as possible. And MOTEMOTE will be starting soon!
If you sent me an email over the weekend I'll be replying sometime tonight.

Haha sounds like you had some fun. Main reason why I didnt go to NYAF is cause I hear its generally a bad con. Def see you guys at the next con though.

The only reason I went to NYAF was because Yoshiyuki Tomino was the Guest of Honor there and I just had to get his autograph. Unfortunately, he refused to sign my Gundam which meant I was lugging around a PG Red Frame Astray all day for nothing. But I'm still glad I went.

Sounded like a blast. I would seriously attend these conventions if I weren't a damn continent away from them.

Well apparently he didn't direct all of the Gundam series, just a few of them. And of those few, Gundam Seed, which was the first series of Gundam I ever watched, wasn't one of them. That and he said in the Q&A something along the lines of "I have nothing to do with Gunpla."
