I never thought about promoting FAKKU! through Facebook or other social networks before, but after going to the convention this weekend and meeting a wide variety of users from the site it made me realize just how important being social is. We all share similar interests afterall so it should come as no surprise that we can all get along pretty easily. So I'll run a little contest to help promote the FAKKU! Facebook group. Currently there are 500 users in the group, once that hits 2,000 I will select a random user from the group and send a free copy of Blue Eyes Volume 3
. And don't worry, if you are a bit shy about your preferences joining the group does not make it obvious that you like hentai.
Also a really good friend of mine wrote up a review for Katawa Shoujo. It took me a very long time to convince him that Visual Novels are worth playing so this is his first time playing one. So if you are at all interested in reading a short review of Katawa Shoujo written by someone who has never played another Visual Novel before in his life, you can read it here.

Fakku! Facebook group was a great idea. However, some users prefer as anonymous because various reasons. If the facebook link showed information about the user it can be embarrasing. For example, read doujin is my secret hobby.

it seems like a really great idea for fakku to reach out on a much broader used medium then the website itself. unfortunately i have to decline, ive never been much of a facebook/myspace guy to begin with. great publicity stunt though jacob, the least i can do is remember to join next time im on fb.

Hey, gotta create a facebook account. My friends were bugging me for quite some time now asking me to make an account on facebook but I was just too lazy to do that but now I got a whole new reason! xD
