Since I'm a fan of Strike Witches I will go and download the game now.

OMG the pic reminds me of 1942 but it's more epic with SW thanks Jacob.

A little game to pass some time till another ecchi series showing up isn't the worst thing to do :D

By "Touhou" style, do you mean that there are graze-points, or just the actual genre of top-down scrolling shooter??

Sort of both.

When I described it as Tohou, it was mainly in being an easily identified vertical scrolling shoot em up game reference.

Some of the Witch teams use a grazing mechanic in brushing your team-mates against shots or enemies to make their powers activate, and the Sakamoto & Perrine team you graze Sakamoto against foes to trigger her sword beam attack, however the grazing aspect is not integral in quite the same was as it is in Tohou games.
