The FAKKU Idea Topic

Only thing I would like to see an improvement on is the favorites. An easier way to browse through them would be nice (sort by artist/series/title, more on a single page, more than just a "more" button).

Aside from that I think everything else is fine, as far as parts of the site I have dealt with.

I can answer this in two ways

First if it's to become a better website it's easy to point out really. First and foremost I think many visitors complain about how few videos there are in the videos section. Of course we have plenty more in the forums itself but most visitors dont know that. Some visitors wouldn't give a thought about checking the forums thinking that all there is in there are casual talks and if they see that we lack videos they just walk on by.

Also the search function is a bit way off. I think many have already pointed this out.

I saw one forum that helps its community learn how to clean and translate mangas and novels, maybe if we can have that we can increase fakku's popularity and work. Since fakku participates in translations and original works I think this is a good idea.

Now second is if it's as a better "community" where people gather to enjoy socializing... well this website welcomes all types of people with different upbringing and different culture so it's not easy to please everybody. But it's nice to see some people try at least we know that they care.

In the past, I could see the title of the manga by putting the cursor on top of the manga image(try hovering the cursor on top of the manga image in the newest manga section of the front page).. now I couldn't see the title of the manga...
I don't know wether it is because i use noscript in my browser or not...
it's kinda troubling for me to click the image to know the title of the manga or what kind of series related to it.

though i must say that the idea to Uncensor the manga isn't that bad of an idea

I reread the first 10 pages of posts before my own post, and decided to repeat the well-stated, fleshed-out ideas that are worth the look:

Full color manga category, pls? I miss that button.

The Image section (user upload?) is good idea indeed but I suggest it should be under a very strict quality check so that section won't contain poor quality images.

i don't know if this was metioned but i would like to see it made easier to view(navigate)my favorites list because i have a big list and it takes forever to get to the bottom of the list to read a manga i want

Translate the Old Manga, There are good Manga from last few years, and haven't been translated so they got forgotten.

No reCAPTCHA who ever suggested this is evil!!

Translate everything, and not just parts or just because a special user uploaded them, e.g. just because YGII uploaded a raw (although he wouldn't) doesn't mean his should get translated first, but the older ones, although I know that YGII would upload translated ones and his do have superior permissions as most of his are very very good.

But else how about a upload section for RAW's and translator's can check into those sections, pick them, and translate them as they like, instead of searching through the forum for ages until they find smth and have to check if it was translated or not, so when a translator picks a raw he can mark it and meaning it's being translated, and then he can upload it and the raw will disappear from the archive, so there won't be double uploads of manga's. get it? I hope you do.. =/

Upload section for newly translators or uploaders, which means they get permission to upload but it won't be shown right away but has to be given approval. So it will be able to be viewed via the online reading, but it won't appear on the Newly Uploaded Manga's or on the front page so it can be checked/monitored and given approval. Hope that's a good one.
Mod's should be the only ones allowed or special ppl, not translators or such because they might wanna steal that work for their own or smth, not meaning that anybody would, but somebody might and we don't want to steal.
