Web Designers/Coders

Are there any good web designers or coders out there? I frequently find myself working on several different things at once and I tend to lose track of them pretty quickly.

If you're looking for some work, are a skilled PHP coder with plenty of skill using AJAX, CSS, and Javascript; send me an email. This isn't a job but more me looking for someone who is constantly in front of a computer (like myself) to bounce ideas off of and work together on whatever projects we may come up with.

Well, my PHP is ruddy anyways, and it's been ages since I've even looked at a CSS sheet, but I have been known to generate good design ideas, so yeah.

Same with KPT, I'm just starting to become one. Oh well, maybe another chance will come...

I migrated to software development, server management and being a general IT person from web design ideals. But I've already extended the offer to listen and list all the cons of an idea from an "external experienced admin" level.

It's a nice and simple language coming from C++ and Perl, so picking up PHP for me probably wouldn't be that hard. It's all common sense and applied knowledge.

I have to say, I have a love hate relationship with Javascript. Too much reliance on end user environments, etc, but it's soooo handy for little crap that has no other way to be executed. For instance below will give my webcam page the ability to only refresh the image every ten seconds rather than doing a meta refresh of the whole page, wasting bytes of innocent data.

CSS was great to go from instead of flippin' <font>, and is more versatile than anyone could have expected. So many variables...

And I've done very little interfacing with AJAX and its principals, so I'll have to look at it sometime.

_b Ruby On Rails. My boss constantly swears allegiance to Ruby on Rails, so you can't be far wrong taking that path. Good luck on your studies.

well duuuh, it's about web. I'm sure it's not contain registers and any AT91 ARM-based microcontrollers...

Sorry I cant be of any help. Im only a desktop software application developer (PS its not my job, im not even at college yet :P). Im good at C++, Java and VB, with a little C#. Of course, in the futire I will be learning web based programming. Until then.
