Nobody calling out the anti-logic equivocation of yaoi with things such as amputee bondage? I mean, I knew some people's reaction wouldn't rise above the level of 'ew', and that's fine, whatever you prefer, and I also knew some people would take it beyond that and insist in shoving their privilege to never think about things they don't like in everyone else's face. Actual women or gays who might want yaoi? Surely that's such a tiny minority! But that particular little gem? The same logic that's being used to deny human rights to real actual people in real actual life in 2011? Fucking disappointing.
I know I don't come to FAKKU or danbooru for yaoi but the sheer symbolic act of putting it here is something that needs to be encouraged. Very progressive. Maybe one day ideas like 'women and gays want porn too, maybe we should provide for all' will completely replace ideas like 'i only support homosexuality when the chicks are hot'.

Thanks for the yaoi, honestly all the guys complaining on here need to get a handle on themselves. People like what people like, I'm sure that they're posting YAOI because people want to read YAOI. Same way they post all the other things they've posted here. Seriously, like they said if you don't like it, don't read it. Don't click the links, don't troll the comments, don't give them shit for posting something.

People requesting yaoi is fine, whatever. I won't read it, but that's fine if it's what the people want.
I have a problem with the admins feeling "obligated" to post yaoi because they
want to be fair to everyone" or "trying to look like they're accepting of everyone's kink" or whatever. Because that is unfair to everyone else on the site. "Well, no actually asks for chainsaw guro, but let's slap about twenty dojins of it up so that no one can say we're being discriminatory about other people's kinks."
Uh, let's not.
You can use the "Don't like, don't look" comment if you wish, but a good number of dojin releases are slapped right up on the front page. And safe to say, some people have rejoiced over seeing eight new Naruto titles, only to be heavily disappointed when, lo and behold, the only thing getting creamy is Naruto's butt while Sasuke's giving him a reacharound.

And to further the complications, out of the fourteen dojins that have yaoi tags, one is about morbidly obese lovers, four of them are traps, and the other nine are Naruto titles
I don't get the feeling people are seriously requesting yaoi. Especially since all the yaoi Mike put up was Naruto-based, which is already considered a joke unto itself, and the only non-trap yaoi here is about two whales of people.
I wouldn't call this symbolic or progressive of anything at the moment.
