First and foremost, we owe everyone who has preordered and currently awaiting the release of Zero Chastity a formal apology due to our lack of communication. With that being said, we can now confirm that Zero Chastity will officially release on FAKKU on November 16th.

The cause of the push back with the date is simply due to the fact that there had been a cascade of issues that built up with our team regarding the inability to release content to our store front and the recent ban of Abaddon on Steam, causing our limited resources strain as we reorganized ourselves to recover.

We recognize that our lack of communication compounded on top of these issues and have made matters worse, so going forward and until November 16th, we will be providing weekly updates for Zero Chastity with information while we take the time for another pass through the game to ensure a polished release for everyone to enjoy. We have made the decision to push the release date to November 16th in order to allow both Abaddon and Zero Chastity proper time to shine individually and not overshadow each other due to the unforeseen problems listed above.

Last minute delays are extremely frustrating, and we sincerely apologize that our actions have caused doubt and lost faith in us from our supporters and we see you and hear you on this and will do better. We look forward to improving our communication going forward, giving everyone ample notification if there are problems found, delays caused, and even more importantly, positive updates with news and announcements on progress with future projects.

Thank you all once again for your patience.

Seriously, another month?!

Either these other game publishers have spoiled us or Fakku is just really bad when it comes to games.

Last pre order for me. Tempted to try and refund.

That what I did and sadly i don't plan on purchasing the game when it does come out after all this.

Hi everyone.

We totally get the frustration, and we are making every effort to ensure this does not happen again for future releases. We've significantly revised our release pipeline in the past year, but it is still a work in progress and the lessons learned from this release (and our previous ones) will absolutely be accounted for moving forward.

Again, we deeply apologize. We realize it's a not-insignificant delay, and everyone's already been very patient. Thank you.

I think it's that most Game publishers wait until the game is nearly in hand before opening Pre-orders. Kagura Games has a similar problem where there are announced games that are effectively dead in the water without notice just because it's been years since they were announced, but no one gets too upset in the general public because they were announced without release dates and no money has been tied up.

The same anger and rage is observed on Kickstarters from Sekai Project, for example, that seem to be overrunning on time - but most people are at least somewhat patient with Kickstarters if the communication is there.

The problem with both Abaddon and Zero Chastity is that the preorders were opened before the games were far enough along in the localization/QA process that the final date could be set in stone. Compounding that, being told (honestly) that the date is pushed for marketing reasons (and not solely because of technical reasons) would naturally anger a number of people who pre-ordered.

Yeah it really is the last part that at this point still has me upset the most if you can release it then do it why make people who have their preorders still wait like i said in my last post i am not purchasing this game when it finally comes out after this and i might never make a purchase with fakku again maybe a hentai to read but never will i be purchasing a game through you all ever again.

Both games would have been fine to release this month imo.

Abaddon would have done well this month, with our without any competition. Hearing good things about it. Right before Halloween? You couldn't ask for a better time to release that game.

Hi again.

To expand a bit on the delay, we are a very small team and simply would not be able to provide support for two game releases at the same time. Staggering releases allows us to focus on one title at a time, which we absolutely need to be able to do at present. This is doubly true for a game like Abaddon that's both large and very complex. We have experience with another Orcsoft game of course, but there's no guarantee issues wouldn't crop up.

Opening pre-orders too early was an issue we had with Abaddon as well, and it unfortunately spilled over into Zero Chastity. However, it is one of the things we've resolved with our new pipeline, and it should not be an issue again.

We'll be providing an update on the current status of the game later this week. Thanks again for your patience.

I agree Abaddon for the content it has closer to Halloween makes sense.

But this kills me you guys have been releasing other games after abaddon was released, what makes the other games so different that they have been released after abaddon was and not Zero Chastity.

They have not. Other games may be available on the store here, but they are not published by Fakku.

edit: Downvote me as much as you want, it's essentially the same as saying you believe every game on Steam is released by Valve.

Hi everyone.

I wanted to provide a short update about the game. Since the announcement of the delay, and with Abaddon's release beginning to settle a bit, we've been able to go back and polish up Zero Chastity. Not a whole lot has been changed, but a couple minor bugs were caught and will be fixed soon. We've also edited some of the text ever so slightly, and caught some typos we previously missed.

Here are a couple new screenshots from the current build as well.

Thanks. I'll have more to share again next week!

Hi everyone.

We are less than two weeks away from Zero Chastity's release!

Since our update last week, we've completed a couple more sweeps through the game. In the process, we encountered and fixed several minor text display bugs involving overflowing lines. In addition, we made numerous corrections to typos and other grammatical issues still present.

We are planning on doing at least one more sweep prior to release, but we're very satisfied with where the game is at the moment.

Thank you all once again for your patience, and here are a couple more teaser screenshots to check out!

Has anyone else been ghosted by support when you ask for a refund?

Im just over this game thanks to the delays and these weekly "updates" with screenshots kind of kill any excitement I had left.

No if anything do what someone did and create a forum post stating that support is ghosting you and maybe someone might get back to you.

Thanks for the help!

After emails, forum posts, and their discord I finally got a reply. My refund is coming but since I placed it before the store outtage they have to get a higher up to process it.

Good, I want them to know how I feel about this.

Hi everyone.

Zero Chastity comes out next Tuesday on November 16th! We're not sure about the exact time just yet, but stay tuned.

Since last week's post, we've completed another round of edits and the game is now all set for release.

Once again, we'd like to thank everyone for their patience regarding the delay, and apologize for it as well. We have made numerous improvements to the text and caught a few bugs as a result though, so the game is even more polished now. Here are a couple more screenshots from the release build as well!

When is the release time? I should have replied with this a couple days ago, but I thought you'd be back with an update... I'm hoping we get a "Mangagamer" release here, and it will come out tonight at 12:00 AM EST. Not gonna lie, anything later is going to be a bit of a disappointment considering the "run around" we've received with this release.

Still gotta pre-order, which I will do that in a the next couple hours or so. Hopefully we'll get a confirmed time here soon if anyone sees this. But please do it with the midnight release. Flip the switch. Whatever needs to be done. I need this in my life tonight.
