TBH the delay wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't delayed last second and not communicated properly and no update after and its been 2 weeks since. Like they delay is one thing, but to outright REFUSE to update consumers on a product? Its bullshit

Such a shame cuz the game itself should be pretty decent, it is Fakku that ruined the customer's experience.
I have a feeling that Abaddon: Princess of the Decay might be delayed as well, even though they did provide a reasonable release date.

Disappointing is all I can say. But this is exactly why I didn't pre-order the game, because FAKKU can't be trusted just yet deliver a smooth release. I don't blame them for the issues they've had, but there's problem with the lack of communication here.
I'm a pretty new customer on FAKKU and I've only bought two games here. One was that Love Cube game which FAKKU published, but it ended up being censored with mosaics, and the other was Chii-chan which had it's own issues before release. At least Chii-chan wasn't ruined by censorship, but it was still a poorly handled release.
All of this just makes me appreciate someone like Mangagamer that much more. Their releases are always smooth sailing, and they come out on the announced release date exactly at 12:00 AM Eastern Time.
I don't care about all of the stuff behind the scenes... I just want to know when this is coming out and when I can buy it. Just give us an update with some real info, or a street date that you can 100% hit.

In other words, Fakku can't be arsed to ever tell people the new release date. I guess just waiting until it's released to order is the new thing to do. EDIT: I'm wrong, they totally had great communication on the forums.

Oh for sure. These companies CARE about their consumers and the money they get, but Fakku just says "fuck you" to its consumers. I saw about the stuff about Abaddon too once I saw the store page and ppl were complaining 3 months ago. So, my issue is they had issues with that game, they had issues with Chi-Chan, and this one. Can Fakku seriously not do anything right when it comes to publishing games? Don't publish games if you can't manage to do it right.

I think many of us were which is dumb they have our emails they could send out an email saying there is going to be a delay this mess wouldn't be so problematic but to be honest I'm waiting for this game to also get a banner saying it was banned on steam just for the cheap laugh

First and foremost, we owe everyone who has preordered and currently awaiting the release of Zero Chastity a formal apology due to our lack of communication. With that being said, we can now confirm that Zero Chastity will officially release on FAKKU on November 16th.
The cause of the push back with the date is simply due to the fact that there had been a cascade of issues that built up with our team regarding the inability to release content to our store front and the recent ban of Abaddon on Steam, causing our limited resources strain as we reorganized ourselves to recover.
We recognize that our lack of communication compounded on top of these issues and have made matters worse, so going forward and until November 16th, we will be providing weekly updates for Zero Chastity with information while we take the time for another pass through the game to ensure a polished release for everyone to enjoy. We have made the decision to push the release date to November 16th in order to allow both Abaddon and Zero Chastity proper time to shine individually and not overshadow each other due to the unforeseen problems listed above.
Last minute delays are extremely frustrating, and we sincerely apologize that our actions have caused doubt and lost faith in us from our supporters and we see you and hear you on this and will do better. We look forward to improving our communication going forward, giving everyone ample notification if there are problems found, delays caused, and even more importantly, positive updates with news and announcements on progress with future projects.

well that's a significant delay, but still...what users are mad about is being ghosted and being cancelled last min., not necessarily about waiting itself

I'm usually a ghost user here (been here from the before this place went legit) and I rarely make appearances in forums. I am grateful for the update, even a month overdue. Pls keep these incidents to a minimum in the future. This game is one of the few I believe that are even worth playing. Looking forward to the game's release and the updates from now on.
