17 hours

Flight back home! What to dos!?!

My laptop only last 4 hrs, and I left my DS with my sister - I was planning on getting a new one but never go around to it...
I'm too scared on planes to fall asleep so I'm trying to stay awake to the point I'll pass out from exhaustion. I doubt it'll work though... so here is my plan - since I leave in like 5 hrs i'm going to go out to walmart (they are still open 24 hrs a day right?) buy a PSP or DS w/ game, smuggle several engergy drinks onboard, and get incredibly drunk by mixing redbull with whatever they have on the plane. I'll just let the hubby be in charge of draggin me around the airport half-drunk, jittery on redbull, while playing Proffessor Layton during our 4 different layovers.

What do you guys think?

Just.... go to sleep.... Why are you scared of planes? You know planes are actually really safe. Statistics say you're more likely to be crushed by a vending machine than get killed on a plane...

No actually what my friend did for situations like that for when he flies to Dubai is that he bought spare batteries for his laptop so I would say do that but good luck getting those if you got your laptop over the internet. Might be a little tough.

I wouldn't know what to do on a 17 hour plane ride.

You can sleep for 8 hours, play on your laptop for 4 hours, go back to sleep for the rest of the 5 hours.

well im sure there might be an outlet on board some planes to charge stuff but yeah that seems like a good plan, try reading something first cus it will take time and ur still mostly awake then u go ahead and play ur games

I just watch movies and find a crazy RPG to play on my DS. I don't need sleep. Sleep is for the weak.

Guys do you realize that 17 hours is almost an entire day when you count the amount of time you have between flights? I have a small fear in the back of my head telling me I'm going to die during the trip - either from plane failure, extreme boredom, or snakes on the muthafuken plane.

Of course... I had video games on the plane. They had TV screens on the back of the seats and it had games on it... Played Megaman X and Kirby Golf things... Fun... They also had Captain Planet cartoons. Lol. They showed movies... I kept entertained.
