Until my glorious bonus check.

I might actually get ahead on rent next month, and be able to save some money.

This is a good way to start my new apartment life.

Aside from a minor incident with one of my neighbors, things are pretty good so far.

Now all I have to do is,

Not.

Break.

Anything.

I really want my security deposit back this time, I'm going to save up for a 2 bedroom.

I'll drop my part-time work at dairy queen if I can find a 2nd full time job.

I think I'll stick to something in the food industry though.

I just want employee discount so I can actually eat out sometimes.

Denny's in my town is hiring from time to time, though not currently.

Keep renewing my application, maybe someday I'll get in.

I want to be a waiter if I work there, though.

The tips are pretty good if you give good service, normally.




P.S. Why do I want a 2-bedroom?

So I can rent out one of the rooms and worry less about my expenses.

Roommates can be a bitch though, so I'll just wait until I find a person who I can probably live with.

How much is your bonus check, and what kind of place do you work that gives out bonuses?

It's warehouse work, $12/hour.

The bonus check is all the time-and-a-half we get from working overtime.

I worked A LOT of overtime in the past month.

At least 30 hours of overtime, not sure how many exactly.

My bonus check is (probably) around 550-600 dollars.

Depending on how many overtime hours past 30 I worked.

It's kind of nice that they take our overtime hours and put them into a bonus check, instead of adding it to our normal paychecks.

The last place I worked wasn't like that.

Wow. I get paid minimum wage working 15 hours a week at Mc Donalds. Then again, I live with my parents still, so I don't need a huge income.

Do gay porn. They get Paid. I figured out if I got paid by the hour it would be 118$. Problem is I don't work 8 hours a day it's more like 4-5 a week.

Sadly, 12 dollars an hour isn't really high income in my state, but it's a lot higher than most people I know.

In Oregon, you'd need to make $16.61 an hour (on average) to live comfortably in a 2-bedroom apartment.

Even more if you want to live in Downtown Portland or somewhere else expensive.

I got one of those in February, worked 45 hours of overtime. I used the money to buy a Desert eagle, completely worth it.
