2d-market, a small online doujin store.

Been meaning to post about this site. I am not affiliated with them, I just own all of their releases.

2d Market offers a small catalog of around 40 doujinshi, translated and uncensored. They're between 2-3€ per chapter depending on the page count and coloring. There's not a lot of community vibe going on on the site, but the release blog and twitter are well maintained.

As it goes with hentai and controversy, the circles they work with are diverse and interesting, so I thought I'd do a rough sketch about (most of) them. It gets darker down the list.

WARNING: if you're looking for SAO doujinshi, be careful what you buy because one of them is not like the others.


Hunt-Hunt is a 37-page ecchi/action/comedy chapter. Fun story, well drawn (pantsu) and full of action and awkward romance. Only non-H chapter.

By Circle Asaki Blog Branch Office I greatly recommend this comedy chapter about Marcille getting her clothes burned and having to resort to wearing an outfit they found on a succubus. This circle has quite a few more chapters released. Some are... weird.

Ashitakara Ganbaru chapters tend to get to the hentai on page 1 or 2. Passionate women in welcoming poses, great ahegao here. Hardcore with happy sex.

Kabayakiya has 5 romcom parodies, mostly on SAO.

Dainichakai chapters require a lot of tags. One is a yuri is about a shrine maiden in need of reconstruction funds, the other about a bunny burglar stuck in an iron fence. I can't wait for the next.

Triangle! have 3 color chapters focusing on dominant girls.

Shouwa Saishuu Sensen focus on KanColle parodies. Coersion aplenty, but to me it seems like everyone ends up having a good time.

Muchakai brings 2 short original series (of around 4 chapters) about older men corrupting young girls, as well as 3 doujins on precure & haganai. The most published artist on the site. The art is great and it covers a lot of domination fetishes. I just think old men are a turn-off most of the time. The Haganai parody is probably my favorite.

If the circle name doesn't ring enough, the series is called Victim Girls, and chapter 7,12 and 14 have been released.
Sadistic and morbid, but well written. Degrading and violent, but wickedly well drawn. Confronting stuff that sticks to you for a bit, and something I want to get more of.
Endgame MMO heroines drop epic gear and submit their lives to orcs, a conqueror claims an enemy female captain, followed by a very morbid parody that I haven't read yet.

There's also a story heavy loli one on the blog, but I can't access that on the store page. Title's pretty obvious. Guess it's a cultural thing. Doesn't look like a -very- evil book to me, but I haven't read it, or seen any scans.

This actually works for me, since I've been meaning wanting to get an answer to a certain question that no one from the site as responded to me about.

I've been thinking about making an account to partake in the hentai goodness for some time now, but I've been concerned in regards to how charges would be handled on my card of choice. I'm not sure about you, but I'm an individual that has never purchased anything that wasn't in the Dollar format and seeing how all the books are in Euro I've been concerned how those types of charges would be handled. Do you have any input in regards to how these transactions are handled? Before you ask, I did send an e-mail asking the same question a couple of weeks ago and they haven't responded back to me.

If you buy things in Euros with a US credit card you may be charged a small fee by your credit card company. According to google it's usually 1 to 3 percent of the total cost, depending on what card you use if they even have such a fee. The site seems to accept Bitcoins though if you just want to use those and skip over using your card.

First on your account will appear (or something like that)
"blocked:
-(converted to your currency)
payment amount:
-(original currency)"

Then after few days you will get
"blocked:
-(converted to your currency)
accounted for:
-(converted to your currency)

and additional entry for commission for currency conversion, really small % of transaction.

Conversing currency with paypal is more expensive than using card directly.

I actually just tried to buy 6 Doujins from them, my card approved the charges but they never gave me access to the Doujins.

As I was writing a support email up I recieved a second email from their payment processor saying that they couldn't contact the company about my approved purchase so they just refunded my order.

I guess it's good that I got contacted fast about the order I just wish I could have read the Doujins I wanted. (Sad face)

Their twitter mentioned some problems with card companies just around when this was posted, and everything should work as it should around now.
I'd hate to see this site get a bad name because in my view, there can never be enough hentai published in the west.

Suppose I will trying again on Saturday, supposing everything has been resolved and whatnot.

I've never had a problem with their card handler and I purchase everything online with a credit card, be it EU or USA.
I saw a few of their twitter posts the other day about a card handler problem, so I'm assuming this is what you have ran into. Bad timing I guess...

"Error contacting payment processor"? I just tried buying some and got the same error. The payment goes through just fine but when it's time to tell that to 2D Market something goes wrong. It's great that it was all refunded immediately, but, yeah. I want doujinshi, not money.

Yes regrettably I have tried a few times always with the same outcome. I have tried comtacting support but it didn't help me, I will try again cause I really would like to read some of them.

I managed to do it just now with bitcoin. It was a hassle as bitcoin always is, but it worked. I hope they sort out whatever problems they're having.

Shame this is persisting. I always pay with mastercard online, haven't had problems yet. I do sometimes need to authenticate with a card reader when I'm buying from sites in Japan and what not. (I'm in the EU)

If you manage to complete your purchase, would you mind replying back in the thread. I just tried again on the 10th of August with no success.

I talked with one of the owners over e-mail and he said that they fixed some of the issues they were having, but that they'd let me know when they're sure everything's good to go. As it happens the e-mail was sent on 10th of August. I'll be sure to post in this thread if I hear more.

I only wanted to give them some exposure, but it seems I might have done them a disservice. I hope they get their payment providers up to speed sooner rather than later, though I'm sure they're working on that.
I have bought nearly all of their doujins and will keep doing so. I like their selection. I'm aching for their summer announcements to be released.

I certainly wouldn't say you have done a disservice, in fact while waiting for all this to be sorted I have increased the number of Doujins I will buy from 6 to around 20. Also I have not been turned off at all even with all the failed attempts, and I still do thank you for taking the time to write about this website.

I have no intention of stopping until I can read the Doujins I want to read. If I have to get a europenan credit card through my cousins address in London just to get access to these books I will take that route.

For now I wait for good news to come hopefully sooner rather then later.

The issue should now be fixed! I was able to pay with a credit card without any problems whatsoever.
