Lol. I don't remember this scene but now I'm tempted to go re-watch Angel Beats.
I remember him teaching her to do the suflex. But I don't remember him trying to peek at her panties

Inb4 you pick the wrong waifu, and she dies, and you live in denial never watching the episodes where she gets sick and dies. What about if she dies from accidental causes instead?

Was expecting somebody to mention that.
thy only watch the episodes up to just before, and cry themselves to sleep?
Alternatively, they hear something bad happens to their waifu, so they never watch passed a certain episode, to keep her alive in their heart for as long as possible.
Which is why spoilers are bad.

2D Doesn't exist. And in Anime, you're really just hearing another 3D person's voice at a different pitch.
3D doesn't "exist" either so that argument is invalid ^__^

You're right.
Your cartoons still don't exist.

Alright, trick question #2: What if she gets killed off by a or the main villain of the series?

Hmm... That's an interesting one... Maybe only watched select episodes where she is in it? or watches the whole thing, but has large amounts of hatred for the character that killed her off?

What about series that were never animated or made into audio books?

Audio book = It's another person reading.
If you're reading it, you might give it a voice.
Still doesn't exist.

Being in love with 2d is being in love with an idea. It's like saying you love a great book or piece of art. It's ideal and can do anything you want in your fantasy, it just doesn't provide anything tangible. 3d on the other hand provides the tangible benefits but is much more risky and hard to get as it's two sided.
Both have drawbacks, merits and are not mutually exclusive so why not try to have both?

I think what you're trying to say is that the love you can show a 2D character and someone in real life are different types of "love", and that's why they're mutually exclusive. I believe that the "love" you show towards characters are the same kind of love you show towards your favourite game or book, or another entity that isn't sentient.
Sure, I can say that I love Suzumiya Haruhi, Katsura Hinagiku, or Mizunashi Akari. However, that's to say that I adore their character - an penned entity that exists as non-sentient being who will not respond to my feelings. In this sense, I say that the "love" I show them is the same type I show towards my favourite anime, game, book or object. I love my MacBook Pro, my HD800 headphones or my Yu-Gi-Oh! cards in the same sense.
This "love" is absolutely different to the type that I show my family - which is obviously the same type I'd show for a girlfriend in reality (if I ever choose to get one). If anyone here is truly able to show this type of love for a 2D character, I am extremely intrigued at what's going on inside your head. I know I can't.

Close, the mutually exclusive part was referring to the fact that you can have both at the same time because neither should conflict. Some girls don't like having to compete with 2d characters but they're insane to think it's a competition.
