I heard Secretary was actually pretty good, plus it has James Spader. Sounds like a good reason to check it out, in my opinion.

Just got finished watching both. Secretary was decent and awkward which I'm guessing what was supposed to accomplish, but it came off shaky. Seeing the Female Main Character being spanked and her underwear pulled down made me aroused.
Quills on the other hand was amazing. Just like with a film known as Superbus, I came in expecting a fap (Sure I could've searched for porn, but there's just something about the explicitness of seeing it in non-pornographic films that make it more appealing. If anyone can provide films like this, hit me up.) came out with a fantastic plot and characters. It kinda reminded me of a more sexually charged 'One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest'.

Damn, was hoping Secretary would be better. Not a fan of period dramas.

Glad you enjoyed Quills as much as I did.
Looking back, I see the film is still relevant in today's culture.
My favorite quote in the movie was, "My glorious prose filtered through the minds of the insane. Who knows, they might improve it."

i've heard it's just complete trash, so much so that people are making memes with pictures of Twilight saying "still a better love story than fifty shades", we've hit the point where Twilight is bettering something, and that in itself proves how poor the film must be!
not even the sex scenes are that interesting supposedly. they were trying to make you think they were pushing the boundaries of cinema but it's still glamorised 'hollywood sex', you don't see much of anything.

Considering how 50 Shades started out as Twilight fanfiction, I'm not that surprised.
As always if you want to read/watch people fucking, just look up porn. You can delete your history or do private browsing blah blah blah.

Not a good reason to change your opinion. Enemies can have a common ethics code.

It's still fiction made for adults. I'm not fond of this either but I'm not going to be mad or question the existence of a work that has "abusive" or "problematic" scenes/themes.
