Action Girls

I only said Belldandy because she has all that goddess magic and fought fenrir and the Lord of terror.
On a different note... I don't think girls should be in it just because they are from a fighting game. If they happen to be from a fighting game thats okay, but if they have no personality and just are listed because they can fight then I'd have to disagree with that.
They should have a great character too, like Revy from Black Lagoon or Alphard from Canaan.

Like I said belldandy was just an example, there have been a bunch of rather random people nominated, and I'm just trying to understand what exactly this contest is.

I think there's reason to have a cap on the number of contestants from each series. I'd like to nominate The Boss from MGS3. She reduces Volgin to a walking vagina within a matter a seconds.

How many contestant will there be? I think at most there should only be 72. It means this wont last FOREVER, because 72 with 3 persons a match is 24 matches, 8 matches in round 2, and with 2 persons a match there would be 4 matches in the last round, then the finals.

So a 37 day event.

BTW I'd hate to see a more "specific" contest that excludes awesome girls from being in the contest. I think as long as they are more then just a girl with a martial arts background then let someone nominate them, and let common sense filter the posers out.

Considering how large the list of nominations is getting, it may need to make the contest more specific than anticipated. Unfortunately i can't think of anything right now.

For right now, i was thinking no more than 3 girls from any one show/videogame/etc. Also, if people could maybe put more description for each girl that they nominate?

In the meantime i will try to think of something to help narrow down the nominees.

You could take a thousand girls. Make it a match of 4 each and make it like, 20 rounds a day. Or something. That would make it last... for... not too long...

How about 3 nominations per person and for each nomination of each char +1 to that chars vote and only the top XX (meaning the ones with most nominations) get into the contest?

I might need to do that. And it would force people to really think about who they nominate, and thus hopefully we will get the true action girls
