I had a spider nest under my bed as a kid, so sometimes i woke up from a crawling sensation on my face. Sometimes the sensation didn't end so i had to shove em off my face :)

Nah I kept the door closed and checked everything after the fridge had time to cool down again. All looked good.

Blackouts don't bother me. I just go outside and switch on the generator. I have enough diesel for full power to last about month or min stuff(air con, fridge, lights at 30% and tv.) for 4. My wells can hook up or just use solar panels. Now my gas stove or water heater... i guess i can hook up a tank or just BBQ everyday.

But power outages is fun. All those bored people removed from the internet gives rise to adventures to be had.
For me, most of the times when it's still light outside during a power outage.... chess time. table top games XD
And a excuse to play lightsaber duels with flashlights when it gets dark.

when i used to live in florida i remember the amount of power outages we had from severe storms... it sure was a bit boring cause i wasnt able to go outside but what made it nice was enjoying my time with my family.
