Ahezuri Reviews!

Our review format goes as follow:
Art: Self-explanatory. How good is the art, correctness of anatomy, good tones and coloring, how turn-on is it.
Story: How much story/characterization/etc is there to add up to the sex. Generally vanilla and NTR gets high here. Doujins based off series that has little to no consistency in characterization, or if characters show a lack of personality, it'll get lower here.
Fetishes: This is essentially rating a doujin by how many fetishes it covers, and how hardcore it is, or how satisfying it is. If a doujin is vanilla, has nice story, good art, but all they do is missionary then we give it low here.
Final score: There'll be two scores here. One from me, and one from my friend(No idea if he has a Fakku account or not). Final score is essentially how much we enjoyed the doujin, ignoring the scores we agreed on for the above categories. Usually we'll decide this first, then go on to art/story/fetishes.

Art: 5/10 - Disappointing and looks incomplete.
Story: 6/10 - Not a lot of plot, it’s pretty much yuri molesting, but characters are consistent and funny enough.
Fetishes: 6/10 - Yuri, toys, hot springs. Not too hardcore.

Koujiro: 8/10 - Art is unfinished so that’s a downer, but since I’m a fan of Senrans, a Senran doujin is a big plus for me anyways. Haruka appearing was a nice touch.

Ahezuri, a place where two men travel the sacred lands of Fakku, searching for doujins of all kinds and giving their honest opinions on them. First in the Ahezuri reviews, we have Senkuu Haran, a Senran Kagura doujin. It’s an obscure series to start with, but since it’s the latest Fakku doujin we might as well.

First, taking a look at the artwork, the artstyle is nice, but the art itself is very much unfinished, especially towards the end. Looks like pencil sketches more than anything, and that really brings the entertainment value down. After small debate, we decided 5 out of 10 was as good as its going to get.

Next off, story. Keeping in mind the only way to get a 1 in this category was to show only sex, mindless sex, with no plot, no dialogue, nothing, even this doujin has a chance to get a little higher. Plotwise nothing happens here, girls go in, two more girls appear, molests them, one of the girls summons wolves, has wolves rape the two girls (Offscreen unfortunately), and that’s about it. However, as Koujiro, one of the two reviewers, is a fan of the series, he confirms the dialogue and characterization being overall consistent and on-spot, and adds in to the enjoyment of this otherwise-rather-mediocre doujin. However, as Leokane, someone who isn’t familiar to the series, says, it’s funny, but that’s about it. Overall score is then decided to be 6 out of 10.

Lastly, fetishes, this is yuri, something that is rarer than straight hentai, so that’s a plus. There is, over the course of the doujin, multiple people, and there’s a lot of fondling skinship going around. As Haruka’s involved, naturally her puppets appear, which means toys as well, which is a rather hardcore tag. Otherwise though, it’s rather tame, so the fetishes score is also 6 out of 10.

Personal enjoyment, Leokane gives it a 6, feeling unimpressed. Koujiro gives it a 8, mostly because Senran Kagura doujins aren’t the most common, and this one isn’t forced, so he’s good with it, despite the mediocre art. Overall, nothing too impressive, although not too bad. Recommended for fans of the series, otherwise there’s no real need to read this, although it’s not so bad that we recommend to skip it.

Reviewing doujins itself isn’t exactly a productive activity, nor is there any real point in it, but we’re doing it for fun and the laughs and out of boredom, so feel free to just laugh along with us as you read these. Last thing, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a Fakku link, although that’s our preferred way of reading doujins(Koujiro’s fine with exhentai though).
