Nope, watching Stardust Memory right now. And I'm probly gonna watch it over a couple times, its my favorite Gundam OVA.

Give it a try sometime- you might like it more than you expect (I know I did- I thought it was the dumbest-looking thing at first).

This thread prompted me to read the manga. It was entertaining and Sig is my favorite. How does the anime stack up?

Just started reading Upotte.
It's pretty interesting. I wounder what a Tavor tar-21 would look personafied there.
Seeing as most of it's mooving and heavier parts are in its stock, I think it would be a short Israeli girl with bigger than normal butt.
Would love to see her freaking out if someone would say her butt is big.

Also, I didn't see an official thread in the manga section. Maybe I'll post one.

I think people are giving more love to the anime than the manga, cause there's definitely a thread for the anime.

Haven't read the manga yet, but the anime just finished airing at 10 episodes.

It's primarily a kinda slice-of-life, but with some gunplay. There are two arcs within where shit goes down with some actual combat. It also provides some interesting trivia upon some guns (real basic stuff).

Not too much drama, but there is some thrown in (not to great effect).

Overall it's quite fun. An overall 5.5-6/10 It's nothing great, but by all means give it a try.

Never read either. I might watch then read.

Yeah, I thought the gun stuff was cool, even if it was basic.
And I've already got the episodes sitting on my hard drive, I just wanted an opinion from somebody who'd seen it already given that I only read it.

Let's swap then- how's the manga?

Solid manga. I'd rate it about a 6 or so out of 10.

Things get a bit confusing sometimes because it can be a bit tough to differentiate some of the different parts of the guns whenever they zoom in on one in a single panel. It's also really short, currently only being 19 chapters long.

Sometimes it looks a bit weird with how the eyes are drawn, namely that every now and then it seems like a character's eyes are just a tad bit too far apart.

Fair enough.

I don't see there being too much different between the anime and manga for a series this short.
