Excellent question actually. I should've answered this in the last nightmare thread but it didn't come to mind.

Basically, there's a lot of people behind SCP. Kinda like how there's lots of people that contribute to 2ch. It's pretty structured though, very organized since everything goes through a screening process to check for high quality work [sometimes weaker subs get past but eh...]. All the stuff that has a official number is canon [excluding the in-universe characters that help flesh out the actual plotline and the 8 games]. there's alot of stuff that didn't make the cut.

ik ik, there's such a lot of good read, other is intersting but not so interesting so I just kimm through but otherwise is somewhst important cus then other SCPs are related to it somehow, like the "Dawn of duke" or SCP-268 and SCP-500
