For awhile now I have noticed that there are images or fanart of anime and video game characters that are drawn in an overweight manner.





What is the meaning of this? I'm so confused...

Some people have a fat fetish. I've seen hotlines and stuff specializing in that.

It is true that, historically, fat was a desirable trait- because it would be associated with wealth, health, fertility, and plenty. Very logical; if you were fat, it likely meant that you could afford to eat heartier meals. Fat women are also in better standing to provide nutrition for a child.


It could be said that that is were many guys find their attraction to big breasts.
