Are you nuts? She could also be mean, annoying, dumb, have radically opposing and offensive views on the world, married, emo, boring, overly-strict, lesbian, insane, or any other number of off putting qualities.

How is insane off putting? Otherwise, I agree. She probably just doesn't have the personality he's looking for. I know some very attractive women whose personalities make me want to vomit.
