As a lover of old music all I have to say is

I saw a similar comment on a Queen video the other day. Someone was saying that Queen was bad and how "Skrillex would never make bad music like this" or something. Disgrace.

While the second post is at least 7 different kinds of retarded, the first one has a point.

Culture changes with the ages, for good and for bad. "Even Justin Beiber has talent." The mainstream is not quite as gullible as people seem to think, he is famous because a lot of people like him, not only because of having really good marketing agents, although they do help.

Now I might not like this latest generation of popular music, but who the fuck cares? I don't have to listen to it, and neither do you.

What do you expect it's youtube. I try to ignore it, but I sometimes see Beiber's fan girls post Justin Beiber is a greater artist than Queen, Nirvana, and Led Zeppelin which makes me rage a little.

Speaking of that, I can't believe Justin Bieber think he's this generations Kurt Cobain, fucking disgrace. That is if he actually said that, I haven't looked into it, I still think he sucks though.

May be true but I still think his music sucks. Either way, the big old artist are legends who have changed a lot in music and made huge impacts. Justin Bieber may be good and a big artist, but he hasn't made as big of an impact on music history. That's my opinion at least.

The best we can do is get off the radio and music channels and take to the Information Superhighway. A lot of talented musicians these days really just rely on word of mouth (or in the Internet's case, text) and digital distribution to get around. Here's some of my current favourite "under-the-radar" artists.

Im open to being to being taught what good music is~^w^ But even Im not stupid enough to think beiber has any talent...=A=;; Tweens. And I personally think rap and ghetto music is garbage. Even more so for growing up with ppl who "LIKE" it...uck. Glad Im not like these ppl (-_-)y-~~~

Nope, he was absolutely correct on his statement.

OT: I don't really like old music either, some songs, yes, but not the majority of it.

I disagree and I may hate his music, but you can't deny that he is a talented singer. He may may not be the greatest compared to others, but he is still talented. As for the rap or what you consider "ghetto music", try listening to rap that is not mainstream garbage where they actual care about their lyrics.
