Unlike Twilight, I actually thought this book was halfway decent. Should be interesting to see how this turns out.

I've read the book too and found the same problem with the twilight books, the romance part is just bad.

From what I gathered from the trailer, similar to how Twilight is based on Dracula and The Wolf Man, the host is based on Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

I don't even know what to say, because all sci-fi movie up till now barely has any romance in it and it is down play a lot since the film needs to explore the sci-fi universe.

They should at least change the name some people won't get confused with the Korean monster movie.

Saiorse Ronan is a superb young actress. Very good in Hanna, and one of few redeeming features of The Lovely Bones, or so I've heard. Should be interesting.
