Yeah, as a general rule, a lot of pools in danbooru are pretty awesome and carry some decent quality.
Not all of them of course, but a lot more then you'd expect from the site.

I go to danbooru for the pools, and gelbooru for the tags, I think.
Or vice versa if I can't find what I want.

I'm mostly content with using just danbooru and Zerochan most of the time. Sankaku Channel/Images and gelbooru help too, occasionally.
