Landscapes are always nice. I don't do them all to often, but I appreciate them when they're done.

And I can see the hassle it is, when it comes to drawing people. Those hands and proportions! D=

landscapes are relatively easy for me to draw it really depends on the details is when they become too difficult for me.

Drawing humans are just my main forte as well as doing clothes with an abundance of over detail.if they're something i lack skill in drawing i'll work on it til it's not my weakness.Persistence pays off

Yeah landscapes are nice, if you looked at the game Flower it's a nice inspiration for landscapes.

I don't usually draw landscapes because I'm always indoors...

I do this as well, but indirectly; by that, I mean that I work on it, just naturally, while drawing a picture rather than setting out to purposely draw, say, a hand several times on end. i could really use some practice when it comes to doing and detailing clothing though--I have a tendency to simply draw busts/heads of people, and leave it at that because, one, if I continue, I'm worried I'd mess the entire thing up, and/or two, I have no idea where to go from there. Lol.



Oh yes, very. The game is very pleasant on the eyes, as well as quite relaxing.

Now I have an urge to play Flower and try drawing landscapes again.

i should help you with that.for me it's the most fun part of doing a whole body image is adding all the wrinkles and details in their outfit.

Sometimes when i feel like drawing i do just the same,it's because i don't have much of an idea to go off from.If an idea strikes i continue the doodle i did and make it complete or it just stays a headshot forever,but it still good to get your creativity flowing.

And I'm off in my attempt to draw landscapes.

Yeah. Sadly, I tend to miss the center of the page, or something, when starting an image, and/or I draw it too big, and they isn't enough room to fit it all... Although, when I do fit an entire piece on the paper, I always get this slight sense of satisfaction. Lol. I do like to add detail (I drew this one picture of an elephant's head before, and I just added wrinkle after wrinkle. Lol. My friend said it was hideous.. and it kind of was. xD ), but I don't like to overdo it, or else it just tends to look weird/overdone.

haha wow i thought i was the only one i usually start drawings at the corner and then have no room for nothing else.I use to have that similar problem when i would look at an image and try to draw it it would always turn out humongous and unclear on what it was.

Wrinkles take time to work at.I remember the first time i did them i was getting so aggravated i told myself i never gonna do them again but then i tried it again and again and i got really good at it.I knew i could get good at it.Among all my peers they're always impressed by how well my artwork is with all the wrinkles.

Lol. I have the tendency to overdo it, as I mentioned, but I know what you mean--when you do it right, it just looks really good. I suppose, since I'm told I'm good at shading, and I've had a lot of practice at that, doing the wrinkles should also come fairly easy to me, since they go hand in hand, to a certain extent.

I think another thing causing me to mess up on doing wrinkles at times, is my aforementioned issue of not knowing what to clothe the person in, so I don't know where to really put wrinkles, if I even get as far as clothing them. Lol.

Ahh, I still need a fair amount of practice at it all, that much I can always be certain of. Lol.

lol i'm not that good at shading,i always hated it at first.But then my friend who was always really good at it said i should try and helped me out,i'm not nearly as good but i still work on it.My hand always smudges when i shade so it still pisses me off haha.

yeah i can see where your problem stems from then.I didn't seem to catch that at first.If i don't have any ideas to clothe them i usually just make them wear a school uniform.They're so easy to come up with and play around with the designs,when i finally come up with a clothing design i usually bombard it with over accessorizing til there's no tomorrow.

Yeah, my hand is always covered in a layer of led by the time I used to finish a drawing in pencil. I wasn't told this for so long, and I didn't think of it on my own, for whatever reason, but that's avoidable by simply placing a piece of paper between your hand and the paper on which you're drawing. Helps a bunch. Can also use it for blurring the shading if you like--something I love to do in some pictures.

And my main inspiration toward drawing was mainly just from watching some anime when I was younger and I saw my brother and his friends drawing, so I wanted to join in. Of course, back then, I couldn't draw at all. Lol. But thanks goodness I kept at it. My family tends to compliment my art whenever they happen to see. My mom even hung up an old art project of mine on a wall of the house (it's just a bunch of flowers drawn with various colored chalk on a large piece of paper. Simple old class thing). Seeing others' art also urges me to become better and practice harder.
