I think I look good with some shadow or even a full beard but then I see other people and they look like bums that way so I end up shaving it. Same with long hair. I think only, like, 10% of guys can pull it off.

I had a mustache and goatee since I was 15. Never got carded for booze. With my set up now and the fact I wear a kufi... I GET RANDOM CHECK AT THE AIRPORT. Almost miss the flight.

I still have people asking me what grade I'm in regardless of facial-hair state. It's annoying. Tempted to just laser the shit off permanently just so that I don't have to waste money on razors anymore.

Bothersome when too long, especially for me. A good trim makes it much more tolerable.

I can grow a full beard, but i have bad experience with it. My face is not suited for the beard look...

Grew out my beard for winter but it's grown so epic I don't want to cut it off. Definitely not for everyone. I find it funny how polarizing it is between genders, men think it would be a waste to shave and women are eager to see it go, but it sounds like they just wonder what I'd look like without it.

Depends on the person, sometimes I grow mine out when I'm feeling lazy but I eventually shave it, either when it begins to itch too much or when I have to deal with clients face-to-face.

Interesting, I find that most men want me to shave, but most women want me not to.

I guess I must look really good with it, and the other guys feel threatened by my overwhelming masculinity.

I definitely need some kind of facial hair to look remotely my age. I don't think anyone at my workplace has seen me clean shaven, hence the curiosity theory.

No, I like being clean shaven. Besides, I only grow facial hair on certain parts of chin so it would look splotchy if I let grow.

At first I didn't care if it was too long or not, but then I started to realize people were thinking I was younger than my age. So I just let it grow. Now and then I go to a barber so I can get a trim but that's like every 2-3 months. Not because that's how long it takes for my beard to grow back (it grows back fast), I just don't wanna keep going every 2 week just to get trimmed and spend money on something like that. Besides, I like my beard kind of somewhat scruffy. I don't like it too long either. Get/give the impression that I'm going to cut down trees during the weekend at my job.
